Why do you wear make up?

She says it makes her feel good

But if you wipe it all away you’d look good the way you should

I like the freckles on your cheek

The way your lips move when you speak

And I love the fact that you don’t waste time watching what you eat

And the wrinkles that pop up when you smile make me feel so weak

 

Putting make up on your face

Is like putting a bag over the moon

And whenever you sing my heart beats to the tune

I wish I could pick every flower in the world and give it to you

A flower is only as beautiful as the one you give it to

There’s not a flower in the world that wouldn’t be jealous of you

I know you are not perfect

But it’s your flaws I’m attracted to

 

I think you are perfect just the way you are

And when you happy people can feel it from afar

If I had a wand I’d draw your face up in the stars

So that every person in the world could see how beautiful you are.
