Atmosphere

Atmosphere

A Poem by DarkSorrows
"

This piece shines a bit of my life..back in 2011, it shows how my home life was like.

"
You tell us it's our fault, her fault, his fault, my fault. There's a tension in this atmosphere, it's been lingering here for quite some time. It seems your self-esteem has shattered into millions of pieces. You try to piece them back together, all the while they keep breaking. You've cursed more than I have ever heard you curse. I try to be polite and as nice as I can be to you, though you throw some curse word around. Tell me that you've gone through s**t tonight and "I don't need to hear this from you!" I think I know the real reason behind this mental wall of mine. At first I thought it was all me, keeping out the one I need most. Now I feel it's you. People don't know this, but I needed to grow up a lot faster then some. To build up a stronger me, so I don't shatter into a million pieces. Been there, done that, don't want to go back anytime soon. I wish for peace of mind for you, for you not to shatter anymore, not to make your children feel uncomfortable in their own house. I hope and wish for you to create some peace. It may help, like it did for me.
