The death of his albatross Leaving in this cold place A mournful air and heavy loss And a blankness on his face
The light-hearted muse Takes her final bow With no feeling left to abuse He didn't care now
"Good things come to those that wait" Or so they say But cynicism predicts another fate On a less fufilling day
The death of a serene feeling The forgotten now see The destruction of an innocent being The forgotten now believe © 2012 DarkShinesReviews
