I'd never given much thought to how I would die. Even if I had, I would never have imagined it like this.

I stared into his soulless eyes, and he stared right back with a sickening smile. I knew that I was going to die, and I had no trouble with it. Not if it meant saving the people I love.

I know that if I had never agreed to move to Forks, this would not be happening. But I cannot bring myself to regret my decision. I have found adventure beyond anything I have been though, and I had found love. He smiled dangerously, showing his extended fangs, and grabbed my throat. I know that everything has consequences, and these are mine.
