Breathing AgainA Poem by DarkRainbowPieThis poem displays my thoughts on what happens when you die. I believe in reincarnation, so I hope that is apparent through this poem. Enjoy! My eyelids peel open, Darkness. Where am I?
My hands reach out. Wood. What is this? My coffin?
My ears prick up. Silence. Who's there? No one?
I think I'm dead. But suddenly everything changes.
My eyelids peel open. Bright lights. Where am I? A hospital?
My hands reach out. Skin. What is this? A person?
My ears prick up. Voices. Who's there? My mother.
I think I've just been born. Time to live life again. © 2013 DarkRainbowPieAuthor's Note
