Lies, Lies, Lies

If you've ever been lied to, or been forced to live a lie that you weren't even aware of, then I hope you'll be able to relate to this easily.

Wash your mouth out, you're feeding me lies,

The things you tell me, I despise.

You're lying through your teeth and you know it,

But I know too, I just don't show it.

 

If you saw my arms, you'd tell me the truth,

This lie's gone too far...it's gone through the roof.

But maybe one day, you'll realise,

That telling me of the past might be wise.

 

You've been hiding away a part of my life,

Do I deserve that? How is that right?

I'm sorry mom, I can't do this anymore,

If you don't tell me soon, I'll walk out that door

 

And never return, because this is wrong.

I'm sorry mom, but you've left it too long.
