Nature's LapA Poem by Elizabeth
The sweet fragrance from the brightly colored jewels seem to call someone
The thick canopy shields me from the unforgiving sun The birds chirp melodiously in unison I listen to them, utter non comprehension while the gossiping leaves whispers secrets to the winds. There is no better place to be , it is sure How wonderful it is to be in the lap of Mother Nature! The nightingale sings a lullaby sweet Laying on nature's lush carpet green I close my eyes, drifting into a perpetual sleep.
