Friends Forever

Since forever you've been my friend

And now it should come to an end

For you are to go far far away

Leaving me all alone in here.

But distance can't make me forget you

And I hope you'll remember me too

In times of sadness, times of happiness

to have you with me, I was blessed

It's just so hard to let you go

Oh! Why you hurt me so?

I can't remember a time you weren't my friend

And I hope this isn't the end.

A lovely poem that flows smoothly, has good rhymes, and doesn't lose the emotions between words. Yup...its so hard to bid a friend that last goodbye...more if they're so close to you that you can't imagine how life would be without them. That also, somehow, makes us disinterested in making new friends...well, that's what I have observed.
