Fraternity

why should differences bridge us?

Why must there be this war?

Can we stop this impending storm?

This battle against humanity

Will destroy all entities

With fierce eyes and hearts of steel

They won't listen,they won't heel

Without reason,without fear

Forgetting what they hold dear

With so much intent to fight

Losing sense of what is right

Station at your battlefield

The most blood-who will yield?

Slaughter,slaughter endlessly

Till both sides tire and admit defeat

Then when the war stops

Among the carnage, realization dawns

With tears stinging their eyes

the enemies embrace each other

for they realized that they are all brothers

this is my favorite.i can definitely relate to this. it's so sad really. my favorite lines though :

I think this poem could be used to question the reason for war. Its very symbolic and truly we are all brothers and sisters so why should we fight?
