Definition of "My Mom"

Definition of "My Mom"

A Poem by Jared Kardos
"

Sonnet I wrote for my mom for her birthday.

"

My Mom – Noun – infinite supply of love

An avid fishy and craft collector,

Meticulous of her craft, work and home

While laughing and giggling like mad.

My mom – Noun – the one who can get things done.

She can kick the dirty kitchen’s a*s,

She can find EVERYTHING that’s on sale,

And slay the hungry dragon, Dad, with food.

And when her knees hurt and her ankles ache,

I will always leap from the heavens,

Like a twisted, strange-a*s superhero,

And help defeat the kitchen and feed dad.

And I’m glad to celebrate her birthday,

At least for without it, I couldn’t mine.

Ahhhhh.... ~smiling~
What a wonderful Mother you have. I love the part about Dad equaling a Dragon, isn't that just the way of the world?!?!?! But yes, this is fabulous. It's kind of catchy the way it just flows over the reader's imagination bringing a smile to their lips.
