missing the picture
missing the paint
the murals that illustrate you
turn grey as they fade
into naked shivering walls

maybe tomorrow,

nothing touches your lips
from the cracked cup oozing its fill

maybe tomorrow,
give it everything you forgot

"this isn't me"
when the radio suggests your song
