CarbonA Poem by NoPoetry1 of a new series of poemsI take the same walk every day and think the same thoughts trying to go somewhere trying to leave I am dissatisfied, imagining what it would be like taking that first step or even how, and past that, where? I am petrified in the sediment of my ages. Daydreaming of someone chipping me free, exposing my crumpled form to the air. I'd suck in a breath that would feel like a first, go somewhere new. © 2022 NoPoetry |
