Torn

Silver moon light
come and fill my soul
charge me for battle
to endure the death of night

Morbid creatures lurk
closing my eyes they show me
the darkened wrathful vengence
I must endure

Moving within me
capturing the moon light held
no strength to fight
I am forever transformed
into this hellish darkness

Caged by the battle of defeat
a slave to morbid creatures
I have been torn

This is an amazingly expressive poem, able to capture and direct the feeling of defeat on the reader. Even had I not experienced such a feeling in my life, I (and any other reader) is able to percieve your emotion.
