Opening

Opening

A Poem by Dark Beauty

Darkness in flight
morbid shadows feed upon loftily passion
theirs to keep
tearing dreams apart
trying to escape
but their thoughts begin
down in darkness so long

Their hearts pleading to sing a song
laughter buried long ago
they wish for freedom
I hear taunting crys
to open to life
fighting the darkness of wrathful night

Blinded by desire
They start to rise above
opening gateways
breaking chains
forbidden but undone

They only care to see
vivid dreams of them selves
rays of light break through
beautiful wings opening
with glisten and praise
