Death

Death

A Poem by Dark Beauty

Depth of emotions rising forth
ravage my mind with past heartache
stagnation untwisted and sheaths fall away

Sadness overwhelms me and I fall to my knees
quivering with anxiety
knowing I can not fight this rising

I pray for strength to get up and not be knocked down
by this no more
I dust my heart off
yearning for healing and closure
I welcome death

No more fight upon my soul for I have completly let it all go
