I Drift

I Drift

A Poem by DarkAngelz

Cuddling myself I lay

Staring at a window that has no sun or moon or day

Brick after Brick a wall to keep away

The lights reach is blocked so I cant see

The warmth is trapped outside without a way to me

Unshed tears my eyes create

While a puddle I sit on grows to a lake

A pool of water nay

An ocean of red not gray

I drift

I lift

And im gone
