Lost Hope

Lost Hope

A Poem by Dark Angel's Storm
"

A poem about depression

"
Somewhere deep in an inner realm
Cast into the endless night
The child lies hidden overwhelmed
Alone and helpless in her plight

Occasionally she wakes to say
As she reaches for the light
I hunger for the light of day
It lies so nearly out of sight

So weakly does she start to crawl
But first shading her dreams like a cloud
The curtain of darkness does fall
Like a tattered, unholy shroud
