Epilogue

                Two months later.

I saw her, running toward me. Saying my name… in her soft angelic voice. I was dreaming, I knew this, but I never wanted to wake up. She was getting closer, saying my name over and over. I subconsciously felt something touch my shoulder. I looked over… nothing was there. The dream was fading. “No, come back… Sophia.” I tried to say, but she too was fading. I saw light… I was opening my eyes. Something was leaning over me… saying my name. “Daniel…? Daniel, you awake?” That voice… yes. I knew that voice. My eyes opened, and I focused on the figure leaning over me. The black silky hair… the blue eyes… the perfect features… Sophia. “Sophia!?”I said amazed as I quickly sat up. “Hello Daniel.” She said as she smiled. She was crying. “Oh my god!! Sophia! It’s really you!!!” I said as I hugged her, and stroked her hair. She smelled sweet, like honey. Now I was crying. “Oh sweetie…” I said softly as we both continued to cry. “Don’t ever, ever leave me again…” I whispered into her ear. “I won’t…” She promised. “I won’t…”
