Incarnation To gaze upon her, it’s simple to divine That beneath her luminous ivory skin, The spirits of tigress and woman combine.
Those eyes of cerulean display, deep within, The heart of the roaring tiger, ready to fight, And a will of steel in the set of her chin. Perfection lies in the illusion of white, But underneath the facade are stripes of black That betray how desperately she needs might. In the set of mouth and the stiffness of back, She portrays to the world her determination To succeed, and never lets the veneer crack. But, too, there is a hidden aberration: A lusty feline that purrs her temptation. © 2008 Megan BradtonAuthor's Note
