Ode to an Angel

Ode to an Angel

A Poem by Megan Bradton
"

A three-stanza ode to a beautiful woman.

"

Ode to an Angel

It smoulders
Burning a hole in my heart
Tearing my inhibitions apart
Intense, Passionate
Her eyes are a swirling haze of dark hues
A strong, fiery work of art

It stirs
Making my hands shake
Leaving my heart open to take
Exciting, Stimulating
Her touch is a silken tapestry of cream
An electric, glamorous tool to slake

It seduces
Inviting me to further advance
Daring me to take a chance
Bewitching, Entrancing
Her smile is a luscious bow of blood
An enticing, provocative invitation to dance
