Love and your Significant Other

One does not need a significant other, but a person without love is nothing.

Love
It's a strange and powerful thing, if you think about it.
it's everywhere, if you know how to look for it.
But, love does not have to be romantic. You don't need a significant other.
Your family
friends, even.
you love them all, and they love you.
The love you may think about is a romantic love. 
While this kind of love is strong, it is also the weakest.
Love for a family member is what makes all other forms strong.
A good friend you love like family, instead of just a friend.

Even your romantic partner becomes part of your family if you do it right.
These different forms of love are the same, though. They just change form.
You're born with love of a family, so that's the easiest to understand.
Love for a friend comes from love of a family. 
You choose your friends, therefore you need an understanding of this love in order to make good choices when it comes to friends.
And romantic love? All it consists of is a friendly love on a slightly deeper scale.
your best friend doesn't have to be your girlfriend
but your girlfriend has to be your best friend
