Your Embrace.

Your Embrace.

A Poem by Stormy Weather

Your arms wrapped around me.

Suddenly, I was sinking like a ship

Nothing to feel but the wet silk enveloping my body.

I could feel the water filling my lungs.

The blurry patches of light that paraded in front of

me, faded.

I was falling in and out of a violent sleep.

Lost in a watery coffin,

With your arms still wrapped tightly around me.

In the comfort of love can be a prison or a paradise? I like your version of the arms of love holding tightly. Good description open the door to question and wonder? Thank you for sharing the outstanding poem.

OOHOHOHOHOOOOO I GET IT

Like, the person is trapping you with their arms, which are usually symbolic of comfort and love and hugs but in reality they are killing you, drowning you.

Lovely.
