Small and New.

Just a short poem about my nephew. :)

So tiny and so fragile you came into this world. 

So very young-you still are.

You cry and you laugh, bringing joy into everyone's lives.

A hard day's work for a lifetime of happiness and pride.

I never knew I could love something so small so much.

Your hands- so small and chubby, but strong as they grasp my fingers.

Your eyes- so deep and wide, watching me always. 

I'm so happy you are in my family now, although

I can't see you often......

I can't wait to watch you grow, my little nephew.

You're going to make all of us so proud!

Happy first 6 months of life,

And here's to many more, sweetheart

Aww this is so sweet. I feel like this towards my baby nephew (strictly speaking I'm not his aunty yet, but I will be when I marry his uncle lol) He makes me smile with his cute little Elvis smile and sparkling wonderous eyes.
