Crimson Tears.

Crimson Tears.

A Poem by Stormy Weather

The moon watches me bleed when the eyes of beings are shut.
The shadows act as a blanket to keep me safe.
I clean the wound so tenderly, not wanting to hurt any longer.
The numbing silence around me pushes me further into the deep.

Crimson tears,
Why must you sting?
Will you show me what tomorrow may bring?
Crimson tears,
You never fade.
You reveal what I'm hiding behind my facade.

The night whispers to me when I'm alone.
It tells me to run free, and to let go of my doubt.
"Forget about all your worries, let yourself
release into me. You are safe."
It tells me of the wonders of falling in.
But, I don't want to start over again.

Crimson tears,
Why must you sting?
Will you show me what tomorrow may bring?
Crimson tears,
You never fade.
You reveal what I'm hiding behind my facade.

When I give in I know I'm strong.
Can't accomplish all, can only do some.
My failures become my wins.
My present becomes my past.
Try to let go of it all, it's not right,
And I know I'm just a puzzle piece made out of clay.
Experience runs short in the quest for understanding.

Crimson tears.
Why must you sting?
Will you show me what tomorrow may bring?
Crimson tears,
You never fade.
Will you show me the hope of a new day?

Beautifully sorrowful the hurt of your weeping flesh tumbles through the images of comforting night that you create. As the haunting exhaustion of trying for strength begins to seep you flee from the you that chases with the blade of failure, crawling into natures womb you crave safety and hope, cherishing it deep within your core as to not let it be stained by the tears of your hurt. Like it.
