There is no Gray.

There is no Gray.

A Poem by Stormy Weather

You speak the words of my diary,

And you blossom in the sun the way I might on my best day.

Even though you try to hold my tears, they still end up overflowing.

But that’s okay.

The faith still remains even when I don’t see your smile

Or when you’re laughing elsewhere.

Because I feel the door remaining open,

The rain still falling,

And your laughter still echoing through the halls of my brain.

But all my blood is drained, and all my calm oceans shying from the shore

Because I realized I will forever be chasing and trying to grasp

The idea that you may love me, while you will be forever running away from it.

I know it's sort of sarcastic if i say this is beautiful because of its tone but as much as it is depressing i loved reading this. It is simple yet displays the broken heart that still yearns for what was there beautifully. The imagery adds weight to it too. Written well Stormy.
