a poem i wrote for someone who broke my heart

 

Wind blows

As she looks

Out of her window

A tear sleds down

Her cheek

Falling to the floor

 

When she realizes

Everything he said

To her was a lie

All the things he said

Were said to others.

 

She put her heart out

He took it, placed it

On the floor and

Shattered it

Right in front of her eyes

She loved him

He loved lying to her

 

Her heart was his

His heart wasn’t hers.

Tears fall to the ground

Onto her shattered heart.
