Poem or Song?

I just put it under poem because it rhymes but it is actually supposed to be a song.

When I open my eyes I can see the light.

An i wont be scared in the darkest of the night.

The reason is that I'm never alone.

When all i have to do is speed dial you on my phone.

Because when I'm with you and your with me.

It helps me live my life and be free.

Even when people say my life is strange.

I'm just not going to stop and get it rearranged.

An baby I can't live a day without you.

I just hope you feel the same way too.

For the fact that love is rare and life is strange.

Nothing really lasts and people change.

An baby whenever your with me.

It's always perfect harmony.
