To my unborn daughterA Poem by Darius ChinoyThis poem was written for my unborn daughter Dariana Chinoy in 2012.
I wait for the day of your birth...
to hear you cries on planet earth... I have been longing to have you... but there are things first that I must do... Like find you a righteous mother... who can give you a protective brother... I fear to bring you into this world today... where everyone seems to have gone astray... But I do believe in God's grace... that he would protect and save the human race... The JOY I see on the faces of a few fathers today... is a FEELING I have inexplicably kept at bay... But now I wish no further to keep you away... but to hold you in my arms with all the pounds you weigh... I wish to give your grandpa the daughter he could call his very own... and not someone post marriage who he has to disown... It would be lovely to see your granny... play lovingly an old nanny... she would teach you about Jesus... and all you should do to please us... You would be my blessing... You would be my dressing... You will make me proud one day... for me to say... with a daughter like you I don't need a son. I already have your name as Darianna... and your beautiful replies of Daddy and Nana... Love you your daddy Darry your granny Anna. © 2014 Darius ChinoyFeatured ReviewReviews
