I Don't Know How To Say This ButA Poem by Terrell A. Pullen
I got a message from my father
He said He wants to better my world Said if I let Him know who she is He will give me my favorite girl After He said this I don't know how to say this, but I wrote Him a letter to answer back I prayed to give it to Him Then said she is just like that My letter was a list that said I don't know how to say this, but She stands five something She is thin in her waist She has long soft hair of silk She is cute in her face She shares love with me Because I love the Father God I love Jesus And so does she Her smile will light up a room Even if it's not dark I know this is truth because That room will be my heart She will be like inner electricity Able to renew feelings that are old Sending a charge through me Stimulating my mind, body, and soul She will be like me Silly Loving to laugh Warm Able to care Just like me She will have eternal knowledge Smarter than the world will ever see Her personality will be an orange moon Reflecting the light of her beauty Her language will be one I have never heard but... We will speak alike So I will understand her every word That was what my letter said I don't know how to say this, but He replied to let me know my letter was read My letter came back At the bottom was a message that said "Is this what you like? This lady above?" I replied to the Lord "No! It is her that I love" That's what was said I don't know how to say this but This conversation really happened My story is true I don't know how to say this, but A week after I answered my father I then met you I don't know how to say this but But © 2008 Terrell A.
