"We" just died

"We" just died

A Poem by Terrell A. Pullen

The way you treat me is just not right
All in my ear sounding real good
Until you find someone you like

Leaving me to encourage myself
It's ok, It's going to be alright
Trying to fight the pain,
Revenge on my mind
Trying to drain my heart of it's spite.

You make me have to act like I don't even care
That's why my true feelings for you I don't even share

Wanting to cry,
I scream for the Lord
Opportunity just knocking away
I refuse to open that door anymore

You tend to wonder why
Heard what I heard I thought I would die
Wanted to hear a ring, just to say hi
Before the dial tone came back I was so surprised

Should have saw the look on my eyes
Then I realized
It's here
The end of our lives

Together!
