For my good friend.

Oh my dear friend I don't know what to write,

I've started and given up in fear of sounding trite,

Let's start with I love you, although that seems so cliche,

The way you make me feel has left me with no words to say,

What we have is something special, a thing a never want to lose,

We've made it though two years of us despite our different views,

Regardless of how many times we may clash and disagree,

I love who you are and I hope you always love me.
