We, the Infected.A Poem by Darien DonAbout how people are spreading hate around more than kindness these days. All these words Such hate erupts from mouths How much further must we pursue hurt? Other people in pain, yet we walk past Consumed with indifference Where are all those who aren't infected The hate that engulfs the heart Do we really live? Are we just shells of people we once were After hate takes us Can we find that kindness that was once given Or, will we drown in all this sin. © 2011 Darien DonAuthor's Note
