LAX Haiku

LAX Haiku

A Poem by Kristen Darian Marie Wiley
"

Haiku I wrote about LAX airport

"

LAX

Upwards they all go.
How will I ever get down?
Lost escalator.

Hurried kisses here
Too late the plane is leaving
No time for kisses.

She promised peanuts.
There seems everything but that.
Where did my nuts go?

We drive this circle.
It is the same every time.
You always come back.

The wand waves at me
They make me take off my shoes.
I look suspicious.
