A Poem by Kristen Darian Marie Wiley
"

Me at its most concentrated

"

I want to sing you a song,
A song that is more than you ever were.
I want the melody to echo in your body...
for all the years to come.
I want my voice to float within you,
like smoke rising in a crowded room.
I will touch you in places ...
no other sound could.
I can not break you, I cannot make you...
don't try to do it in return.

I want to pour all my heart tears,
and angsty aches into your cup.
Feel my need, feel my joy
know the last thing I will ever do
Is raise my voice.

Bring the love, bring the pain,
assassination to compassion again.
So far from my beginnings but back at the start.
The sound travels deeper into you.
By the end you will have all of me.
Then I am free to be myself.
Once again I am no one.

I want to sing you a song... music barely drifting in over words in a crowded room.
