At Dawn

At Dawn

A Poem by Dareen
"

The difference between a lover, a mistress and a wife, at dawn.

"

I dream about

my lvoer

at dawn;

imagine how the rising sun would shine across her face.

I make love

to my mistress

at dawn;

slide into pleasure for myself.

I contemplate

my sleeping wife

at dawn;

draw from it the most heavenly

of things.

Please ignore the typo in the second line; it's supposed to be "my lover".
