Dark Agony

In the darkness of the night,

lies the truth of this world I live in,

the loyalty once given to me,

now laying in the hands of hatred,

my every ounce of happiness,

blown away with the wind,

anger shadowing the face,

in which once was in the arms of love,

now only fate leading to a never ending battle ,

of misery and happiness,

a life once full of joy,

but now lies dead,

in the silence of the night,

whispers among us,

nearing me towards the edge of insanity,

the life I lead now,

driving me away from my place of safety,

for now I am only running away,

from the home I called my own,

and a life of happiness and safety,

 now lost in the hands of fate.
