Willie's Song

Willie's Song

A Poem by David Darabian

When the clouds get cloudy tonight
Will the stars shine on the sky so bright.
I wish I was running in paradise.
Where the flowers grow tall,
in the brink of the waterfall.

Where I am the leaves crumble and die
Let me be with the birds in the sky.
Where music play for everyone to hear
Smiling and laughing without any fear
I wish I was running in paradise.

I would like to visit this paradise as well. Life crumbles where I am. I will be strong enough and move on. Paradise is a place for the tomorrows. The todays are here for now.

I enjoyed this look toward the future of paradise. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you ever so much for the review of my story "Redemption Draweth Nigh". I appreciate your thoughts and your kind words.
