Give Up

Taking all of the poems off my facebook and putting them on here. Here goes.

There comes a point in time

where you have to let go

let it slip away

let it fall from your hands

where you have to give up

it does not mean your weak

it means you have strength

the strength to let go

the strength to move on

you gave all you could give

put up a long hard fight

up until the very end

you never let go

you never gave up

but when pushed to the edge

you realized what you could handle

you realized what you couldn't

you realized what was worth it

and let go of what wasn't

so when it all slipped away

out of your hands

to the world around you

you realize what you have to do

you have to give up, let go, move on.
