SomedayA Poem by Darian JustineFunny how I wrote this for my mom lol, two years ago.
Someday I'm gonna show you
Just everything I can be Someday, you'll regret this And you're gonna miss me Someday, I'll be at the top While you're still way down low You'll wanna take back every insult you hurled And say "I didn't know" Someday you'll find out what I really am And that it isn't what you thought But don't think I'm gonna forgive you And don't think I would have forgot Someday you'll wonder what you were doing When you looked at me with a frown All the times you called me names And all the times you put me down I'm nice enough to wish you luck While you travel your own way But remember what you said When you're in my shoes someday. © 2013 Darian Justine |
