HeroesA Poem by DaphneeWhat makes a hero?
I feel bad for the heroes, in all the storybooks
They are chosen, have a lot to sacrifice I couldn't imagine the thoughts of such a noble one Everyone relies on them, everyone hopes One's self-doubt could kill the glory in one punch Some are strong and dont fear death Bullet-stopping chests and an eye for death defying adventures I truly respect those courageous souls But show me the weak, show me the scared Bring to light those who are terrified Its one thing to fight evil and be not afraid But its another to fight and tremble with fear Show me the ones who dread and quiver... but battle anyways That is a hero © 2017 Daphnee |
