Time of SilenceA Poem by DaphneeSometimes talking cant speak the language of the heart
Talking has no use for me now
My unspoken words can only be pondered Inner termoil resides in a permanent site I smile, I even laugh, I wear this mask Socially isolated, I'm indestructible now No words, no friends, oh how I love life! My tounge is sore, tired of constant biting Can't help it when a verbal drought has terrorized my mouth All this pent up anger, all this compressed depression... It'll have to make a debut along my lonely, winding road of silence I do have a written voice, it appears on paper But for now, Only oxygen will pass through these lips of mine © 2017 DaphneeFeatured Review
