MoonA Poem by DaphneeNight is my favorite
I am no stranger to the Moon
It sheds undying light where darkness hides I sit out late and converse with the night sky The stars hold deeper meaning in these emerald-green eyes I dont listen to the others, who call me a freak They dont dream and they dont understand I hold such intelligence, of my quiet and acquainted nights They see the stars, and they zoom to the facts of science I see the whole Universe and it speaks to me The ordinary ones see the Sun and appreciate its light I have been captured by the beauty of the Moon and the way she beautifully renews herself © 2017 DaphneeReviews
