Untold TruthA Poem by DaphneeNo one knows
An untold story, resides in my heart
The tale of my doom, of my lost battle I love to write, sometimes a little too much Who knew A-Z could contain such mystery Recovery takes its time, not in a hurry This tale, only once told, will return My soul, on edge, yearns for freedom Unspoken words, yet to be exposed I should prepare, maybe take it slow Bandaids should be ripped off fast, this I know But who needs a bandaid when a dark secret is lodged in my back? © 2017 Daphnee |
