NightA Poem by DaphneeNight owl-me
They see it turn night
And rush inside I see the Moon And zoom outside The wolves howl, creatures stir No one is out People fall asleep Which leaves all the unspoken thoughts to me I speak to the moon Excited down to the bone It lights the way and gives great company Child of the night, intrigued by the stars I sing a song, others can only dream My eyes shine, and my heart pounds This is where I belong Sun starts to rise, you'll see me rush inside Though the day is pleasant, it's far too bright For the night owl, such as me © 2017 Daphnee |
