In my Mind

In my Mind

A Poem by Daphnee
"

Some thoughts in My head

"
Do ye dare judge me?
Ye have not seen my mind
Dark disturbing truths you'd uncover
Doubts, regrets, Trauma; visible as day
The wheel of thoughts has spun out of control
I am but a weak peasant, obeying each emotion
For they demand a reaction, demand a piercing shriek of pain
Others would sob just by a glimpse of what I hide
A lot happens there, lack of sleep is well aware too
So I daresay, do not judge me
Or my demons will haunt you as well

Dark, yet beautiful and in a way relatable. Well written

Interesting thoughts there. I want to hear more.

Strong and well put, perhaps a few times read out loud you could catch things you don't like! But it is well done, interesting thought. We are all servants to our thoughts, what a scary thought.
