Heart, Come HomeA Poem by DaphneeMissing: Heart
I declare; my heart is missing
Look to those with the good looking souls For I may have left it with them Though the world be cruel, I lend my heart to any who may need it Sometimes I get it back torn & bruised Time & gentle care help nurse it back This time I gave more then I had Now paying the ultimate price I desire my heart to come back So when they come to my door I can greet them and bid them in with open arms Nay, I now hide & dream of my hearts return For now I may remain a cold heartless vessel © 2016 DaphneeReviews
