Detailed Description

Literally a detailed description of consuming a hot drink

My lips exploded as I brought the lava hot beverage to my inviting, exposed mouth. My immediate reaction made me pull away but once again, I brought the mug to my lips as I quickly blew a wind hoping I'd blow the heat away. The process of taking a sip took its time as my begging tongue pleaded another taste. My own hand was hesitant, afraid of once again being stripped of nerves from the steaming liquid.

I don't think this is silly... I think it demonstrates a very important skill. It is very easy for anyone to say that they 'sipped at their coffee and it was too hot'.
That is easy... yours is not. It is a process of thought which is difficult.
Don't dismiss this, be proud of it.
