Only a Girl

Only a Girl

A Poem by Daphnee
"

Stupid people ruining yet another life

"
Just a Girl, only eighteen
understands life can be unfair and mean
people use her, people lie
secretly sobs when the sun sets down into nigh
thinks to herself, shes a huge mistake
tired of the gossip and others being fake
shes so alone, cant find love
constantly prays and pleads to those above
dreams of the day when she wont be alone
a person who will be her new home

I like the true innocent nature of this poem, you have painted a picture of life of a girl who has been dominated by this cruel so called society, where she gets abused and feels like she has no meaning, she has no one to love and care for her and she awaits eagerly for the one who will come and take her away from this pain.... This is a beautiful yet very true write about our society that is killing more and more flower like souls of this world....

We are all in the process of learning my frnd, don't worry, you will get there, I'm pretty much new to poetry writing and I have been reading almost 100 poems per day from various sites and I believe you are doing well enough, just keep on doing what you love doing and eventually you will be at the top place of poetry.... Best wishes... "live to write a day write to live"...

Regards
Dhiman

Good job. I like the theme of your works, and how they feel real. And you already know my thoughts about your rhymes.
