The Girl Who

The Girl Who

A Poem by Daphnee
"

Who I was VS Who I am

"
The Girl Who...
The girl who smiled, now cries
The girl who showed her face, now hides it
The girl who stood in the light, now is lost in the dark
The girl who was full of life, is mentally dying
The girl who was naive and innocent, hurts every minute
The girl who would take a stand for anything, finally gave up
The girl who had many supporters, now stands alone
The girl who was free, is now a prisoner
The girl who saved others, now needs to be saved
The girl who was happy, discovered depression

I have bad days and good days. On good days, I switch the words around and make it a happier poem. What do you think?

Im sure that girl is still around, and she will come out of hiding.
