Never Ending Battle

About Addiction

"
That's it! I can't take this s**t!
Everyday someone's giving in
Trying to WIN
This endless battle of addiction.
You are outnumbered in numbers
Then remembered in pictures
The highlights of your life
Being written in scriptures.
The saddest of all
That day you stood tall
And thought you couldn't fall
But that was your call.
You thought you needed one more time...
Thinking it would be exactly like in your mind
Like it was the last time, or better yet rewind
To that first time you tried
And felt all that pain subside
From deep down inside
You felt you no longer had to hide.
But to your surprise and mine
That would be your last time.
I can't shed another tear
For all of you soldiers that aren't here
You knew better than to give in
You can't beat the battle of addiction.

How and what goes through a family when someone is addicted and when the addict is wholly helpless and got no control towards his/her addiction......
None of the person in this earth will understand untill he/she goes through such here even I don't!
One of the harshest site of world is faced by addicts and their owns......I guess!
You'll stay alive till your last breath and untill your closer and closest are there for you.😊
